The paper or cardboard material used in this product comes from responsible forestry,

And suppliers have been audited for evidence of sustainable and ethical practices.

This also means that raw materials are updated at the same rate as their consumption.

Plantation forests are a good example of a sustainable source of paper.

Upack only uses paper and board from large and well-known raw material suppliers that we regularly audit.

COMPOSTABLE

The product is biodegradable and compostable, suitable for disposal in commercial facilities,

This product will decompose within 90 days as defined by the European Union standard EN13432.

Processing at a commercial composting facility means that the product will be subject to the optimal amount of sunlight, temperature and moisture to break down.

Compostable products can be placed in a home compost bin, but the time it takes to decompose depends on what you do with your compost pile.

Compostable products should not be placed in the regular curbside recycling stream, but some local government areas now accept compostable products in organic waste collection bins.

RECYCLABLE

A product or material is recyclable if it can be collected and remanufactured into a new product. If Upack's product is listed as recyclable, it means that once the food scraps are removed, the product can be easily recycled through the curbside recycling stream.
